MOT Tester Training Course

Gain a nationally accepted qualification in class 4 & 7 MOT testing, enabling you to increase your earning potential and more desirable for employment.

To become an MOT Tester, you will need to achieve the MOT Qualification for each vehicle class that you want to test, which is a minimum of 24 hours training with at least eight hours practical.

You will need to complete a VT8 (Demonstration Test) which will be observed by the DVSA. This can be done at your Vehicle Testing Station or at MOT Learning Services.

Once you have achieved both the MOT Qualification and the VT8, you can then carry out MOT’s at a Vehicle Testing Station.

Dedicated Training in Smaller Groups

Our training courses are available for self-employed testers, or people working within an organisation.

Carried out in smaller groups, we ensure you get the most out of your MOT Tester training and get to ask the questions that matter to you.
